WE SEE A SEWING FACTORY!
Jasmine's Banner Company was designed because of the tremendous need for young adults with special needs to have a place of steady employment. A place that provides a sense of purpose for the adult life experience.
Jasmine started sewing when she was 10 years old. She had a knack for it and started making namesake buntings for her friends. Soon enough she started getting requests from family members for baby showers and holiday banners. As her small orders were piling up...her galpals started coming over to help and before I knew it, she was teaching her friends how to sew and create. So here we are!
We have a big goal! We hope to grow into a real live sewing factory and employ lots of young adults with special needs. Not only do we want to have steady jobs for these incredibly talented gals (and guys) but also include a mini-cultural school environment for continued education of learning and growing.
Every banner you purchase online, every party you host and every dollar you spend with us helps provide that steady work. We are a non-profit, break-even kind of business, without having that non-profit status. We did not want to go into being another 'Work Shelter.' A real paycheck just feel better!
Thank you for helping us in this endeavor...these guys and gals are merely DIFFERENTLY ABLED. Let's open a brighter world for them and their parents.
